the power of HOPE....

staying alone is a bit boring thing, still it has its own advantages!
we can do whatever we like without bothering others....watching my kinda movies without any interferrance is a bliss,really...classics,contemporary world movies, action, drama, horror everything...most of the movies are for a second time or third time...

Taxi driver,man who copied,the return,cinema paradiso,seven samurai,last tango in paris,good fellas,bad education,illusionist,when we were kings... the list is too big...but i just want to talk about two hollywood movies that glorifying the power of Hope!...those movies 'll teach us ,even in the worst phase of life what we can do, if we have the faith in ourselves and have the will power to venture!
yes,I'm talking about two of the finest movies hollywood ever produced!
the first one is,1994 Frank Darabont directed movie 'Shawshank Redemption'the film begins with a court scene; in that, the main character is sentenced for a double lifeterm(that means his remaining lifetime)for an accused murder(but he is innocent)! he end up in a very nasty,notorious prison named SHAWSHANK! the film showing how he transforming the jail and how he managed to escape from that tightly seccured fort prison after completing a gruelling two decades(20 years)....his only tool that help him to break his cell is just a tiny chisell.... his enormous selfbelief and hope did the rest...!!!
the story telling in this movie is just awesome!very inspirational movie,a must watch....
[trivia:I got one watercolour painting from my best buddy raghu with one great african proverb written on it at the very same year,this movie released(1994)...that proverb also exemplifying the power of hope;
'never fear shadows;it simply mean there is a shining light somewhere nearbye!'
what a thought!that words made an everlasting impression on my mind....whenever I got a chance to advise my friends I liberally quote this lines to them....]
the other movie I'm goin to talkin about is tom hanks starrer 'CAST AWAY'(dir:Robert Zemeckis)...in this one,Hanks portrays a FedEx employee who is stranded on an uninhabited island after his plane crashes over the pacific ocean! he survives on that unmanned island for four years and eventually escape to the mainland!!!
the protagonist,never ever giving up his self belief and faith even in the worst situations he came up to meet with.....
a truly motivating movie I've ever seen...and the creators shown us how even an inanimate object(one volleyball named wilson) 'll make a wonderful character in a movie! when hanks weeps after he losing his only companion wilson at sea,we can't resist our tears!thats the power of imaginative screen writing!
whenever get low at the heart,friends,just take time to watch this two movies...u can also feel what I felt....thank you....

  1. One thing I felt when I went through your blog is that you need a life partner very urgently and that it is high time you got married.
