our image in front of the world media tarnished again and again for all the wrong reasons....
but,yesterday we shown to the world,what we can do....
its simply majestic....
almost all western media today carries the opening ceremony news as stunning!!!
come on India,prove to the world our incredible potential...

മഴമേഘങ്ങള് ചിതറികിടന്ന നരച്ച ആകാശം;
കര്കിടകത്തില് പുതിയങ്കത്തിനു മുകളില് ഞാനെന്നും
കാണാരുണ്ടായിരുന്ന അതേ ആകാശം!
കാല്കീഴില് ചവിട്ടി തെറിപ്പിക്കാന്;

From the empty corridor of an art Gallery...
for the last couple of years we are reading a lot on the extra ordinary growth of our indian contemporary art field and how finally indian artworks are getting global attention...
lot of articles are discussing the potential huge market for indian art at the global stage...
nowadays its not that much a surprising news that some indian contemporary art work is fetching millions in international art markets or at the domestic elite class.......
not only m.f hussain,tyeb mehta,anjali ila menon kind of iconic indian artists but even some young generation artists can boast about what their works can command on international art houses....thanks to the neo liberalization policies....
but is this art boom,really made any difference on our popular perceptions towards the art field and the practice to avoid visiting galleries as something unusual?
why I'm thinking like that, is because some weeks before I went to a reputed modern art gallery here in Hyderabad on a very fine sunday evening...
weather is excellent for an outing for people,so huge gathering at shopping malls,cinema theaters, the gardens and even at temples...
but to my extream surprise this neatly maintained art gallery is empty..!!pin drop silence prevailed there, except that 'wrrooom' kinda low sound from a old fashioned large fan...
the four people presented there except me is all security personnals..!!!!they amused to see someone enjoying some surreal things....one guy sincerely recommend me the great 'space show'excibiting near bye, planetarium!
the so called art boom not made any difference in the peoples taste towards art works rather they find art as an investment that gave you more profit than gold and land...
so sad....
(photography is not allowed inside the Gallery but I used my mobile cam to show the emptiness! my sincere apologies..)
why the silence been so long?
its been a long,long time since I post something to my blog....
precisely, more than 6 months....
this unusual gap resulted because of an unfortunate incident happend
between me and one of my 'cynical friend' over my random thoughts posts...
he simply refused to accept the fact that, those posts and the thoughts are genuine...!!
he accused; I might 've taken those articles from somewhere else to my blog and boasting on it...
although he's trying to make me angry,I felt really bad; because we were not the only people present there in that arguement time,and those rest of the people also joint with him to tease
on my postings...
I challenged him to prove his accusations...
nothing happend afterwards,....but,I lost interest to post my thoughts through blog...
but now I feel all the things happend is so silly and its a folly to break expressing my self here,on some wild accusations...
so,now onwards me going to post my thoughts here on regular intervels...
one last word in this regard is;
friends,no need of any kind of appreciations if my thoughts seems so unreal but
it doesn't mean you can throw accusations without any proofs...because some sensitive people kind of me, 'll take it very seriously and might take some bad decisions...
(Trivia: that cynical friend of mine, left my office and joined another company at bangalore...so now he can't make accusations to my face...he...he...)

Dutch football and John keats....thoughts on empathy factor!

my teams are the latin american soccer giants argentina and brazil;reason obviously is the football legend maradonna and beauty of latin american soccer!
but what the curious thing I want to share here is,
whenever one match being played between either one of this my favourite teams and the Dutch or Spanish team I secretely wish for a Spanish or Dutch win....why?
Is it because of the empathy factor?
I know the pain of being a loser though you 've all the potential to win...
look at the spanish and dutch football history,very often they sent and been considered as the very strong and most deserved team to lift that precious piece of gold cup, still they couldn't make it yet!
I read a lot on the legendary johan kruyff ,that how he single handedly popularise the total football and make the holland team to the two consecutive world cup finals,1974 and 1978
and endup at the other side of victory....
spain didn't even went to the final ever!!!(only once they get into semifinal stage....)
so very naturally a football lover really wish to see one of this deserved teams lifting the famous cup even over our favourite teams defeat....
so where comes our beloved poet John keats(whose tombstone carrying the heart melting words of
"Here lies One, Whose Name was writ in Water"!!! that much desperate he was when he met death at an early age of 25) in these football thoughts?
while thinking about this empathyfactor (in a sense sympathy factor,maybe) I can't resist the feeling to talk on my admiration on keats,dostaevsky,vangog and beethoven....
its true they all are genious enough to anyone can admired into,but my love and admiration doubled on them not only becuse of their matchless masterpieces, rather the tragic life they lead while delivering such gems.... knowing their struggles while living is make anyone to weep
ok,ok I don't want to elaborate and make my eyes wet on them....
I simply wish all the great football teams to perform well at FiFA 2010, especially the dutch and spanish.....
Anyway,my teams are argentina and brazil.... :)

[after all this globalization things happend,still my native palakkad,keep that charm of a country side...I really love when I went for my onam holidays there!kerala's very own monsoon makes it much more beautiful....I'll post a detailed account soon....]

the power of HOPE....

yes,I'm talking about two of the finest movies hollywood ever produced!
the first one is,1994 Frank Darabont directed movie 'Shawshank Redemption'the film begins with a court scene; in that, the main character is sentenced for a double lifeterm(that means his remaining lifetime)for an accused murder(but he is innocent)! he end up in a very nasty,notorious prison named SHAWSHANK! the film showing how he transforming the jail and how he managed to escape from that tightly seccured fort prison after completing a gruelling two decades(20 years)....his only tool that help him to break his cell is just a tiny chisell.... his enormous selfbelief and hope did the rest...!!!

did I Grown UP, or....???
yesterday, at our office lunch time I 've a conversation with one of my collegue mahesh;(we 've been friends from the toonz days itself) I just want to share the thoughts he shared with me,because I really impressed with what he said about the competitive nature of our working field...
he just ask me,how the job is going on..
I replied; yeah,its goi...ng on!!!... (to be very honest I'm not in that much of a good mood for the last few months in my personal life and professional life...my reply just reflect it)he smelled something from my way of answering and maybe from my bodylanguage...
he said to me with a brotherly affection;
pradeep,don't let things just going on...whatever the things happening to you,just try to take lessons from it...be positive and don't forget, always be prepared for the challenges,even if it is good or bad we should be well prepared to take what comes in our way... and be very competitive to survive, otherwise we end up in a very boring 'just like that' life....
and he explain to me the point more deliberately by taking examples from some of our collegues successful career growth and all...how they are constantly working hard to live upto the expectations and how much competent they are in their field,like that....
finally he said,always willing to judge yourself honestly,friend....and keep asking did I grown up from yesterday or I'm the same as what I've been at the day one..........
those words impressed me a lot,maybe u can find out this kind of motivating sentences a ton from some career gurus and all...but from directly from a friends mouth its really much much more...the whole evening,the night,I think about that words a lot... and kept asking me where am I standing now?honestly the answer is not very positive.....
dear friends just think about those words to attain what you want to achieve...don't end up in a just like that life' anymore...
all the very best, friends!

the virtue of DEATH!

no?? suddenly the world 'll start to love you very much...
suddenly they[the people] learn, how to forgive you,how to respect you
and how to forget your wrong deeds....
what make me think like this is;
the overwhelming shock and gloom the world shown over Michael Jackson's death!
I think after the 9/11 trade centre collaps,no other event got this much attention on media world wide alike....and for a person,after princess Diana's tragic death in 1997.....
we people have a very strange mindset,
we can't let people as what they are,if they start to behave little strange(yeah,I know mj behave not 'little strange' but 'absolute strange ways'),can't let artists do whatever they like to in their personal life and just sit and enjoy their outstanding creativity either!
who made this genuinely talented normal youngster to an absolute insane?it is the senseless sensational media and gozzip crazy public,who else?
we want to know all kind of bullshits on celebrities;
like,michael sleeps in hyperbaric chamber or he shares his toilet with his pet Bubbles!
Damn we!!
now, all of the same 'we',unconsolably crying over this 'poor helpless' victim of spotlight!!!
I just want to emphasise what a.r.rahman said on jacksons death,that 'value people's existence and respect them when they are alive because life is short'!
anyway,dearest michael,this untimely death is really a blessing for you man!
now you can rest in peace,without any disturbing controversies or haunting stares....
and can certainly hope the coming generations only look at your matchless music and the dancemoves rather your whacko jacko lifestyle!
Hat's off MichaelJackson for what you gave to the real music lovers!

Deccan's (gil)CHRIST!!!
the results make us think that,yeah u can make it, if u have the will....
last year,this Deccan chargers and royal challengers are the teams most of us make nasty comments on,or we all witnessed they are falling flat on their nose...
but,Boy!what a change in their atittudes this year after teams got some extra ordinary guidance from their newly placed genius captains Kumbley and the super natural gilchrist on whome I just want to say some words on my blog....
I really amazed at what he did on that fateful semifinal clash against daredevils...
for Adam Gilchrist,this is not new...he did this kind of things earlier too...
remember what he did to our Indian hopes at 2003 world cup final?
still,as real cricket lovers we love this very aggressive 37 year old australian 'Gentleman cricketer' for his outstanding swashbuckling knocks....
he single handedly lead his shattered team to the top spot!
well done Gilly truly he is a DAMn (gil)CHRIST...
(Trivia:he is sharing his birthday with Jawaharlal Nehru!)

this time they(the people) are not get deceived by some cheap political gimmics shown at last minutes; such as the big cry for lankan tamilians by some oppurtunist regional politicos or for the cinematic glamour, that very often tamilians and andhrites get hipnotised by....

to BE or not to BE..........
where 'll I can find the root 'cause of my fears?
the Godamned,so called Inferiority cmplx of mine?or just its an escapism for my laziness or inability to produce creative stuff? only Time can say that,I suppose....
